At certain points in the mypositivemenopause.com website, you may be asked to share your email address or other personal identifying information with us. As provided in these Terms and Conditions, such information will never be distributed to a third party and it will never be publicly visible without your express written consent.

Your email address will only be used to alert you to any information that you have specifically requested to be notified of and will not be shared.

 

Use of the Site

Information on this site is not a substitute for medical advice and you should seek medical advice via formal channels should you require it.

 

Terms and Conditions of Booking
What are the consultation fees?
 

You will receive one free 30-minute consultation. This session is designed to help you answer any questions and determine if therapy with My Positive Menopause is right for you.

All prices are available on the services booking page. Full payment is taken at the point of booking to secure the booking.

 

Bookings / Cancellations / Rearrangement Policy
Cancellation Policy:

We aim to provide as flexible a service as possible but we are a small business and there are significant costs to us associated with patients who cancel last minute and it is very difficult to fill last minute cancellation slots.

Should you choose to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please provide us with 48 hours notice. You can cancel or rearrange online via our booking system or, please email mypositivemenopause@gmail.com and we will rearrange or cancel for you.  

If you cancel with more than 48 business hours notice you will receive a full refund back to your payment card.(Please note: this is automatic and can take 10 days processing time by the credit card company.)

 

If you cancel, rearrange your appointment or do not show for your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, the fees are non refundable. REGARDLESS OF REASON.

 

Technical Difficulties

Our online sessions are held via Zoom. It is your responsibility to ensure that your own computer, laptop, tablet or phone is suitable for Zoom meetings and that you have a secure and reliable internet connect. Where the technical difficulty is on your side, unfortunately we will not be able to make up any missed time or sessions. 

 

In the event of technical difficulties on our side that affect the quality of our session, we will endeavour to 'make up' any missed time and complete your session with minimal disruption. We add a 10 minute 'buffer' to the end of each session to allow for any minor disturbances.​ As an alternative, we may conduct part of your session via voice call.

For disturbances lasting more than 30 mins, we will reschedule your whole session.

It is your responsibility to notify us if there is a technical difficulty at our end, as we may not be aware of poor audio or video quality.

Technical Requirements

Zoom is a multi-platform service, which can be used across a range of computing platforms and devices. You will find the meeting link in your booking confirmation.

 

Meetings can be joined using the Zoom desktop client (Windows, macOS, Linux), browser client (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari), and mobile apps (iOS, Android). You will also require a stable internet connection, a microphone, and video camera. 

 

You should test your Zoom configuration before your session to identify potential issues.

Other Terms and Conditions

All sessions will be conducted in English. If English is not your first language, you must have a good understanding of English to benefit from the session.

All clients require an initial assessment. This lasts 90-minutes and includes taking personal and health information, completing an assessment of your needs and discussing your treatment plan. After your initial assessment, neither parties are under obligation to continue with treatment.

​

Please be aware that therapy with My Positive Menopause is not suitable for everyone and there may be other reasons why we choose not to proceed with therapy with you. If at your consultation or initial assessment, it becomes clear that this is not the most appropriate or beneficial treatment for you, we will endeavour to offer more suitable alternatives and resources. No refunds will be made in the event that we do not proceed with treatment following your initial assessment.
