My Story.

I started my career teaching in secondary schools before moving on to teaching internationally in Japan and Australia. Upon my return to the UK, I worked for the county council managing the Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools curriculum. I have run my own business for the last 11 years, delivering qualifications and training to adults working in schools, and operating after school clubs in the local area.

My background in teaching both children and adults has given me a wealth of experience guiding individuals through change and a deep understanding of how people learn and grow through different life stages. I am studying for a master’s degree in psychology at the University of Wolverhampton and hope to continue research in the area of menopause and positive psychology to PhD level. I am passionate about utilising the strengths-based approaches of positive psychology in my practice. I use an evidence-based approach to which allows me to help my clients draw on their inner resources and learn new coping techniques for lasting well-being.

In my personal life, I have a passion for health and fitness. I am a qualified personal trainer, Pilates instructor, and swimming teacher. I've recently started trampolining and am working towards landing my first front flip! I have two brilliant, noisy teenage boys who have the unique ability to make me feel both old and young at the same time.
